Electrical Engineer

  • Westmount, QC · On site
  • Full time

Design the electronics inside CAPI’s reusable base, from the pressure sensor to the wireless link, working closely with mechanical design, testing and regulatory.

What you’ll work on

  • The pressure sensing front end: signal conditioning, amplification and data conversion
  • Low-power design and power management for the battery-powered base
  • Integrating the wireless radio and antenna in a small, sealed enclosure
  • PCB design and layout, including board fit, connectors and sealing
  • Board bring-up, bench testing, preclinical studies and design verification
  • Design documentation under medical device design controls

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in electrical or biomedical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Analog and mixed-signal circuit design
  • PCB design and layout (Altium, KiCad or similar)
  • Hands-on prototyping, board bring-up and testing
  • Bonus: medical devices, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, low-power wireless design
